Men’s team 2024/25

Our men’s Olympic bobsleigh team is currently recruiting athletes for this season. We are looking for men that are strong, fast, and ideally heavy.

There is no typical bobsledder, each athlete is unique. However, to be a world class athlete in the sport of bobsleigh one needs elite level speed, whilst also maintaining a heavier bodyweight. If you are interested in joining the team as an athlete, please familiarise yourself with our requirements/p>

AAthletes should be able to spend time away this winter, and be ready to commit to becoming a bobsledder. Joining this team will mean you can travel the world, paid for by the team, whilst racing in the pinnacle of our sport in both the World Cup and World Championships; Events which are televised around the world.

However, to join the team athletes must pass minimum standards to be eligible for selection. These consist of Back Squat, Deadlift, Power Clean, Bench Press, 30m and 60m sprint metrics. These are designed to ensure that all athletes are able to perform the duties needed of an elite bobsleigh athlete, and also have the baseline needed to train to become world class.

If you believe you would meet all of these requirements, please get in touch by sending an athlete bio.

Women’s team 2024/25

In the 2023/24 season Trinidad and Tobago fielded its first ever women’s team, captained by Akenke Oliver. Here she competed in the Monobob event, which is a single person event.

Women are able to compete in the monobob or 2-woman event. Should you wish to be a pilot, please get in touch. Please note that all teams, men and women are independently run and funded. As such, pilots must show the ability to run, manage, and finance their own bobsleigh team.

Should you wish to become a breakwoman then please also get in touch where we will put your name on a waitlist for as/when our 2-woman team starts.
